Welcome!  I'm Corinne Cassis, President of Sitto's Bakery

Our Food

Our artisan pastries are made with high quality natural ingredients, individually formed, hand decorated then slow baked.  The butter is clarified (milk solids and salt removed), lemon juice is fresh squeezed and the nuts are chopped not pulverized into dust.  Absolutely no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives are used.

Our Butter Cookies (Gh'raybeh) begin by whipping clarified butter into an airy fluffy cloud combined with only sugar and flour and decorated with a slivered almond on top, then slow baked.  The Date Cookies have no added sugar yet are very sweet from the fresh dates and are hand decorated with brass pinchers that over 100 years old.  Our 40 Layer Baklawa has 40+ layers of buttered phylo dough with a walnut pecan center then draped with a lovely lemon orange blossom simple syrup.

These are the beautifully delicious desserts my Lebanese culture was raised with at holidays and special events.  These were the prized gifts people received.  These are the desserts people want but don't have time to bake!  These desserts always leave you with a happy and satisfied feeling of enjoyment.  I hope you enjoy Sitto's Bakery with your family and friends and they become part of your family's tradition for generations to come as they have with mine.

Our History

Sitto is an Arabic term for grandmother. My Sitto, like most Sitto's (in any ethnic family), took great pride in her cooking and baking; it was one of the ways she showed her family love. Sitto was a fabulous cook. She eventually passed her recipies and tricks down to her daughter (my mother) and then to me. When Sitto gave me a compliment on my pastries, I knew I had made it in this world.

My husband, Chuck, and I had a restaurant, deli and catering business and these desserts were always requested at our customers' parties whether or not Lebanese food was being served. Our customers ordered them on such a regular basis that we began Sitto's Pastries which has grown into Sitto's Bakery.

Though these are Lebanese/Syrian delicacies, they are enjoyed in every setting and at every type of dessert party. Our pastries are great for corporate gifting, thank you gifts and showers anytime anywhere. Chuck and I look forward to serving you!

My Dream

I’ve always enjoyed baking. One of my favorite presents was Easy Bake oven. A pretty table is very important. Fast forward and I’m still doing the same things.
